Hi All,  I just read this on a Lion Brand e-mail.  I thought it was clever
and could be adapted to writing about lace making.  Actually if
journalists have so much trouble writing about knitting (which I think of
as a very normal activity) it's no wonder lace making is such a mystery.

My buddy Sumac has a bumper sticker that says "Spinning because knitting
isn't weird enough".  I guess maybe I'm wrong about knitting being a
normal activity .
