I agree with Helene, the Sunset in Darwin across the water is really spectacular.We were in Darwin for 4 weeks and went to the Mindil Beach Market every week, where we bought our evening meal ( heaps of meals from lots of different cultures to choose from ) and then we went over the sand onto the beach to eat it. I don't mind getting more bobbins, my DH made me a bobbin tree and my daughter folk art painted it with flowers and lace so I am putting all my special bobbins on display when I am not using them.The knitting patterns will be great. I like to knit with different types of wool to try them out. I have a travel pillow which has traveled many miles with me on holiday. I made a bigger half round mat to sit against the roller which helps support more bobbins and so you can make a wider piece of lace. If you extend the half circle around the roller you can push the bobbins back behind the work. I made my extension from cotton fabric ( double ) with thin wadding in between the layers and then quilted it, this makes it more rigid but still soft enough to fold inside the pillow.
