Can't confirm from personal experience but Skin So Soft dry oil body spray from Avon Cosmetics is supposed to be a reliable insect repellant, but only the original Woodland Fresh variety. According to a friend who saw it in a magazine Avon have never tested the product for insect-repelling properties, have no idea what the "magic" ingredient is and are not interested in finding out. I am an Avon representative (hope it's OK to say that since I obviously can't sell to any of the people on the list) and lots of my customers rely on the product, including one who spent a holiday in a Peruvian jungle last year and another who is an air hostess and travels to lots of exotic places.
