Lacers in the Vancouver, B.C. area - I have been made aware of a needlework showcase at the Burnaby museum the August long weekend. I will be there demonstrating stumpwork, but the organizer would be interested in have someone demonstrate lacemaking. There will be no payment, but we receive lunch and tickets to the museum at a later date. There are several shifts available. They are three hours each, in the morning or afternoon each of Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. If you are interested, email me and I'll put you in contact with the organizer. There will be someone there demonstrating Romanian Point Lace.
