On our local news tonight they showed Vermeer's painting "The Lacemaker" to publicise the exhibition of Vermeer's paintings being held at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge. It is called "Vermeer's Women :Secrets and Silence" and will be on from Oct 5th 2011 until 15th Jan 2012 and its free admission . This is a MUST for me and I will be booking a train to Cambridge as soon as possible.
