Should be fixed now. I have no idea why this stopped working...

As Daniel pointed out, there are three CreativeCommons licenses that fit
with your requirements, but they would make your data "unusable" on most
free (as in speech) projects.

   - If you want to allow creating derivative work from the data [1]
   - If you want to force this derivative work to have the same license [2]
   - If you don't want to allow derivative work at all [3]

You can easily pick the license that suits your needs here [4]

I'd go for a CC-BY, or a CC-BY-SA

[1] http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/
[2] http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/
[3] http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/
[4] http://creativecommons.org/choose/

frequency lists

2014-10-14 Thread R.J. Baars
After conferring a bit more with Daniel, I decided to make my company to
publish the top 30% of the frequency lists free and open using CC-BY.
This should be enough for LT.

If you want to add frequencies to the morfologik speller, the frequency
list for your language could be in the complete set of frequency lists on
spellonit.com/downloads.

I found that adding the word frequencies improved suggestions quite a bit.

pom.xml cleanup

2014-10-14 Thread Daniel Naber
Hi,

I did some internal cleanup to the poxm.xml files so that they contain
less duplication. It shouldn't make a difference for anyone, but if you
have problems building LT with Maven, let me know.

I've switched over Asturian now, would be nice if someone could test it
(it's not in the snapshot nor online yet, you will need to wait another
day for that).

I know... I don't know how to solve this, everything works fine locally
and I also don't see what has changed. It seems to be a change on the
system the software is running on. I've sent a message to the tool labs
mailing list but didn't get a reply yet.

You're right, it's my fault. I didn't use XXE for editing this time. But it
was a nice try to put the blame on you ;)

Thank you for your tip.

Creative Commons has a "non-commercial" option, but then we cannot use
your lists for LT, either. LT can be used for commercial purposes, so
any code and data we use in LT must be free even for commercial
purposes.
