The structure of the various types of help/assistance/information is not
clear. Here are some ideas:
On the LT home page, there are links to Forum and Development. The welcome
message on the Forum page should specify who the forum is for (end users, LT
developers, both). Possibly, change the name to User Forum. Also, include a
link to the Development Overview and the bug tracker.
On the Development page, change 'Archive at Sourceforge' to something like
'Developer messages on Sourceforge', and put the text below 'Subscribe'.
Clarify the phrases to 'Archive at mail-archive.com' and 'Archive at
markmail.org'. These pages seem to show the same e-mail messages that are on
Sourceforge.
Development page: "wiki.languagetool.org contains the complete development
documentation, including:" If the only purpose of wiki.languagetool.org is
for development information, then change the name from 'wiki.' to
'development.' Reason: 'wiki' tells me it's a wiki, but 'development' tells
me its purpose, which is much more useful.
Development page: "Development Overview, for users who want to extend
LanguageTool with their own rules". But, the three-minute introduction is
also for people who want to add their own rules. Remove the link to the
three-minute introduction, because it is the first subheading on the
Development Overview page and people will see it immediately.
Probably, this is sufficient: To learn how to add your rules to
LanguageTool, refer to the Development Overview.
On wiki.languagetool.org, remove the links that are in the top right of the
page:
* Development has only 2 links, not the full set of links. 'Tips and Tricks'
is in the left navigation. 'Developing a tagger dictionary' is probably not
useful, but if it is necessary, it should be with the other links on the
left navigation.
* Contact. Put a contact link on the left navigation. Remove
http://wiki.languagetool.org/contact and add a contact page on the main LT
site.
http://wiki.languagetool.org/ : "This is a wiki for developers and users of
LanguageTool," What's a wiki and why do I care? Remove all instances of
'wiki', when the word is used to describe the way in which the documentation
is supplied. If necessary, use something like, "This section of the LT
website..."
In a previous message, Sharad wrote: This will aggregate all development
related information at one place and a user can reach there by a single
click.
Yes, please. The current structure is confusing.

I've renamed it. Any other opinions about the development/Wiki links?
