I’ve created an example vi of how to use Queue messaging to create to separate loops – one for DAQ and one for the UI.
The example shows how to use messages between the loops to not only get DAQ data but to configure the DAQ settings. There are no local or global variables used at all. In addition, statistics are performed on the dataset in the UI loop – to off load the DAQ loop. The VI is available from www.LabUseful.com <http://www.labuseful.com/> and are as always *FREE*.
