function max value

Hello,

Is it possible for labview to find the maximum value of a function?
The function contains 2 variables, and all of them changes from -inf
to +inf. If labview can achieve them, how to do it? Thanks in advance!

Northwind:

 Why certainly!   Just look in the Math subpallete, and you will
 find zeros and extrema vi.  Alternatively, you could save the
 function as a waveform and use the wave max/min vi.
