Well, I asked for permission to include DPCrypt into the FPC.
It was granted, and the usual FPC license can be added.

My plan was to look at the proposals by Arnaud Bouchez from mORMot to create
a factory pattern for the hashes/crypt classes, implement that and use
DCPCrypt classes to provide the actual classes.

So you're welcome to join in that.

I'm just always using the Hashlib4PascalPackage.
Is DCPcrypt better?

If so, who maintains Hashlib4Pascal - maybe it can be combined into a 
single better version, or


If not, maybe just deprecate it and suggest using hashlib in future?

I think it is a mature codebase, maybe it should be incorporated in FPC.

I am currently implementing crypto routines in FPC for use in JWT tokens,
so maybe using DPCrypt is a better approach than re-implementing all
routines, if we can change the license.
