Raphael never posted to this list and no Lazarus developer contributed
to kzdesktop, so what one can say is that there are no commits in the
public svn repository since 2012. I just noticed there's zip uploaded
in September of '13, however the files inside still have '12
timestamps.

ok, thank you.

As the project anchordockingdsgn, an update is expected to add the form 
in the IDE, as we have in Delphi?

At the moment the form is separated from the IDE.

to kzdesktop, so what one can say is that there are no commits in the

Yeah. That's where I got the information. And it's even more outdated
than the SVN, it just contains the first announcement. And it's ironic
that its advertised as a robust GUI for Lazarus :)

So what? FreePascal started (AFAICT) mostly as a German project.

Yeah, Flavio. I'm Brazilian too. As you said, for large audience, is good
to it in english but it's a developer option and if he didn't make this
choice, well, bing translator on it. Maybe someone could offer tor help
translating it to english but he must accept this help.

FWIW it's easy to make kzdesktop compilable with Lazarus trunk. Where
the compiler complains of unknown 'Items' identifier, use 'Comps'
instead. To fix the resizing of forms in the designer, replace the
UpdateControlState call (in KZLazDesktop.pas) with AdjustSize.

Just wanted to inform those that don't frequent the forum or may have
missed the thread.

There's a Lazarus package written by Raphaelz from the forum that
implements a tabbed layout for Lazarus instead of the standard layout.

Oh come on... -.- Aren't nearly seventy years enough? Learning from the 
mistakes done in history is one thing, but always pointing out something 
like this... if you hadn't written this I hadn't even remotely connected 
this abbreviation in any way to the abbreviation you connected it to.

I strongly suspect Raphael is not a Lazarus committer... and in any case

In any case, I'm very glad he's developing this: a lot less clutter is

agreed... i had to hunt for it too... it didn't strike me as offensive but 
rather a strange name for a layout manager for a programmer's editor tool... but 
it is the creator's baby and they can call it what they like :)

KZ it's his abbreviation for everything as I can see, like a signature.
It's very cool implementation, that I really hope to see in Lazarus 1.0.1
and beyond part as main stream option.
