Re: Getting the word out
As I asked to Torrys, and I forwarded the answer here... Torrys should have a Lazarus Section in about 2/3 weeks... Horacio > > btw. has anybody ever heard anything back from Torry or DSP?? [lazarus] Getting the word out
Hi, I just want to inform you that I have sent sourceforge a mail on adding lazarus and fpc to their programming languages list. You know the description you get to see with each project that's hosted there. Curious what their response will be, but I hope it's a push in the back for all those out there that are spreading the word like me. And the bug 733 was modified from Resolved to Closed!?. Can someone clarify the meaning/difference between Resolved and Closed? Resolved means: bugreport is closed for the developers, i.e. 'fixed' or 'not a bug' or 'true, but too general'. See the added comments. Closed means: bug is also closed for the submitter. I didn't know that from the beginning and misflagged some bugs. Maybe 733 was one of them. If you think, that it should be reopen in the bugtracker, please create a new one with more information. Thak you for the answer. The cited bug is really fixed, i used only as an example Luiz _ To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject archives at http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/mailarchives
Re: [lazarus] EXE packer for Linux
Andrew Haines wrote: Tony Maro wrote: Can your components decompress directly in a memorystream, or from a memorystream to a filestream with ease? What the installer does is it rips the embedded file out of the install image into a memorystream, which then gets saved to disk during extraction. Hmnn. I've noticed that that is not the case. I will change it to use TMemoryStream instead of a file name. Andrew Okay I've changed it a bit now :) It uses streams completely except when creating the archive it uses a list of filenames to compress to the outstream the unit has been added to the lazarus ccr.
