Re: [leaf-devel] Git commits

2011-09-03 Thread Martin Hejl
Hi Mike,

any progress on that? I subscribed, but I haven't seen anything come
through that list yet (maybe I screwed up with signing on to that list).

It would be nice to see what's being committed to the repository.

 KP Martin,
We now have a leaf-git-commits mailing list. Mailman settings cloned
 from leaf-cvs-commits list.

Pending: git hook script for bering and core repositories.

Same here - having a commits list makes it easy to keep track of what's
happening (and possibly even avoid the redundant work, that Erich has
been pointing out). So, if it can be set up, by all means, please do so.
I'll subscribe to it as soon as it's set up.

 Everyone,
I'll attempt to get the Git hook script working for a new git-commits
mailing list in the next few days. After this new list is stable, I'll
 close our cvs-commits list. Comments/suggestions?

 Mike,

Will be an improvement for me - it's more convenient to have commits via
 mail
than than via RSS or refresh webpages. This may also reduce the number of
 overlooked commits.

Martin,
My apologies. You did nothing wrong. I dropped the ball on this. I'll
attempt to get the script working this week.

It would be nice to see what's being committed to the repository.
