{RESEND]: RE: [leaf-devel] New project members

2004-07-06 Thread Venki S. Iyer

Mike,

Another ping - any estimate on when you might be done with the web site? I'm
beginning to think it may be one of those on-going tasks, with no end date,
though I assume your web site upgrade has some goals and at least an
implicit project plan?

Is there any neccessary linkage between your completion of your web site
tasks and addition of new users, or is it just that you are incredibly busy,
in which case one of the other project admins can probably perform the task
of providing me access? Remember, the original basis for my request about 4
months ago was to be able to provide some user-contributed packages.

Just curious.

Thanks,

-Venki

RE: [leaf-devel] problems building nfs-utils for bering-uclibc 2.1 ...

2004-05-14 Thread Venki S. Iyer

Martin,

I was using the includes/libraries under the $(BUILDTOOL_HOME)/staging for
this purpose, hadn't hacked up a buildtool.mk/buildtool.cfg for nfs-utils. I
didn't see any way of re-generating libc225.lrp, so I ended up placing the
contents of libc225 into the $(BUILDTOOL_HOME)/staging/lib directory.

Sometime after I sent the email out, I did sort of absorb the fact that all
I needed was to link against /lib on my box, and make sure libc225.lrp was
loaded on the device side. :-)

Thanks!!

Hi all,

I'm trying to build nfs-utils using a buildtool-based 2.1 environment. I'm
missing something obvious here, but i'm not able to get it to use the
libraries from libc225.lrp?

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

K.-P.,
The cvs domain names were changed when SF updated bind recently. Omit
the project name from the domain, and all should work well. Please let
me know if your issue persists.

Example:
$ cvs -d:ext:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/leaf co devel/kapeka

Venki,

See the mail below which Kp sended some weeks ago to the list.

Eric

-
As of today a new package directory for LEAF Bering-uClibc packages
called
"testing" is available.

Packages in this directory could be build and contributed by someone
outside
the Bering-uClibc team, or build for users by request and untested
due to
lack of hardware etc.., and will be provided "as-is".

LEAF Users can find those packages at the end of the packages page
for
Bering-uClibc:

http://leaf.sourceforge.net/mod.php?mod=userpage&menu=91017&page_id=51

LEAF Developers can write/commit their packages compiled against
uClibc
version 0.9.20 to the cvs repository:
leaf/bin/packages/uclibc-0.9/20/testing/

Please read the instructions in the README you'll find in that
repository
first, it will be helpful to build the above web page in the current
format
automatically.

thx for your attention
kp

Hi Pawel,

Just emailed you a big honking attachment containing the eagle.lrp I built
under 2.1RC1 (or RC2) - I haven't tried to run it under 2.1 final.

Would one of the Bering-uclibc developers (or you, Mike N.) care to put this
in a place where it is accessble to all? I don't have a
place to publicly host files right now. Rather than post the attachment to
the group, I'll wait for instructions. :-)
