RE: [Leaf-user] no ppp support in kernel (DCD 1.0.2)?
Minimum set of modules for ppp seems to be: slhc ppp Yes, i can validate that. I think Jim is asking because of his PPTP setup. I'm running PPTPD with only these two modules and it's working great. ___ Leaf-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-user
RE: [Leaf-user] no ppp support in kernel (DCD 1.0.2)?
Yes, it is. Add ppp.o to the module list. -Original Message- From: Jim Van Eeckhoutte [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, January 14, 2002 7:51 AM To: , Subject: [Leaf-user] no ppp support in kernel (DCD 1.0.2)? I get this error when enabling ppp and pppd with ppp0 in network.conf: pppd: This system lacks kernel support for PPP. This could be because the PPP kernel module could not be loaded, or because PPP was not included in the kernel configuration. If PPP was included as a module Is this right? ___ Leaf-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-user ___ Leaf-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-user

RE: [Leaf-user] no ppp support in kernel (DCD 1.0.2)?
There are some additional dependencies in ppp sessions. I saw the same error on initial install. I don't recall which one was the solution to this particular error but the total ppp related modules I ended up with are: slhc ppp ppp_deflate bsd_comp slip dbc.
