RE: [leaf-user] ORIENT BANK OF NIGERIA INVITES YOU

2002-09-08 Thread theStation

Sorry Tony, you are too late!

Mohammed already promised the deal to me.

We have been lovers for almost 3 weeks now, after meeting in Yahoo
Groups. We exchanged pictures and it was love at first sight. We plan to
wed over the internet on October 15th. My Italian grandmother keeps
warning me to beware the ides of the month, but I can't figure out what
she means. She just keeps babbling on in Italian, and I don't really
understand.
Besides, how can I distrust a man who writes such dear love poems?

He already sent me a copy of our Nigerian wedding license, and promises
as soon as my $500US check clears we will be able to obtain our
international wedding license. (the international wedding registry
doesn't accept Nigerian currency.)

I hope everyone can attend the wedding, since it will be held in
cyber-space. We're still deciding on a time of day that will be
convenient for everyone on both sides of the Atlantic.

Come January, Mohammed's tour of duty in the Nigerian Army will be over
and we will meet in Berne, Switzerland to begin our honeymoon. We are
supposed to meet at the Bank de Swiss Internationale, where he has
opened an account for us
to hold the proceeds from the estate of the late Mr. Kelly. I know the
account is open, because the $1000US check cleared my bank account. (I
had to send Mohammed US funds to open our account because the Swiss
require a minimum account balance, and Nigerian currency fluctuates too
much.) After registering ourselves as Mr Mrs Bello on the bank
account, we will tour the city and decide on where to stay the night and
how to spend the rest of our honeymoon.

The strange thing is, AAA travel is unable to book my travel
arrangements yet. The travel agent is trying to fly me into the closest
airport, but cannot figure out where the Bank de Swiss Internationale is
located. Mohammed sent me the post office box address of the bank in
Berne. But was unsure of the bank's exact physical address. He says
Berne is not a very large city, so I should just fly in to the
international Airport. The taxi should be able to find the bank easily
once we arrive.

Do you think we should arrange to meet at the airport instead? Mohammed
says the Swiss airports are always so busy, we might miss each other.
However, I'm not so certain.

love and kisses to all...
  Naivette Verisimilitude
