I've made a patch which fixes the issue, however I don't have a build environment for LEAF(-uclibc) handy. I've attached it if someone wants to build an updated package for LEAF. I'll include this fix in my next release. In the meantime, using a different scp client such as WinSCP should probably work, though you might need to force it not to try sftp.
