[LU] Team for QPR

2010-12-17 Thread DAVID NATTAN
Does SImon stick with the same team and formation for tomrrow that serves us so
well away from home (he will bring in O'Brien for Collins if he is fit) or do
we start with 4 4 2and if so , who misses out and who come in ?
To me the only one(s) he can leave out would be Kilkenny who was subbed at
Burnley or Johnson with the one who keeps his place playing alongisde Howson in
centre mid with Max and Snoddy out wide. If he does do this who should partner
Becchio up fornt - again it seems a choice of 2 really, Somma, or more likely
McCartney.
However I would not be surprised to see us start with the same 4 5 1 / 4 3 3
line up with Becchio as a loan frontman

One thing which it would be nice to see would be Howson running rings round the
ageing Derry in the same way as Delph did with Savage the other year (not that
I am comparing Savage to Derry - Sean Derry was a good servant for us in his
time here and from comments since, does appreciate the fact that Leeds United
is a special club and the highlight of his career team wise

Only in your dreams Rich - not going to drop a striker who scored both our
goals last time out (and is our top scorer and managers favourite)
You may get your wish some time over Christmas and New Year when the games are

Not sure if this went through so am sending again.

Jay Bothroyd - 13 goals in the championshipBecchio - 11 goals in the

Bothroyd gets an England call up, can anyone imagine Becchio getting a call up
for Argentina? No. Just shows how pants the England team currently is.

[LU] Kids Tournament

2010-12-17 Thread Dr Michael Benjamin
Really got into the idea of Kids- Junior footie.
I am seriously playing with an idea where all kids teams run - managed -
associated with / by Leeds supporters have a tournament in the
summer. Ideally in Leeds.
Eventually I would host one here. We have a fabulous place for a great
summer camp.
Our team is a an example of hope -- I'll explain why off list. But imagine
if Rob could get a Palestinian team up and we'd play at ER?
22 kids showing the way.
If we wait for the political bastards it'll never happen!
How can I move this forward?
I've been very loyal to this list & now bugger all about others.
Anyone want to give a helping hand to kick the idea around?
Remember only nativity and determination ever really changed the world.
Michael
