Re: [LU] list meet?
Hi Damian! I'm just reading this email now, so I've missed you yesterday and I'm not in Madrid tonight (I live 25miles north of the city). I'm sure the areas of Madrid I list below were still the best back in the 90s but for places to go: - the entire street that is C/Cava Baja in the La Latina area and surrounds - the area up above C/las Huertas before the Plaza de Santa Ana - la Plaza de Santa Ana itself is a bit touristy but still OK, and from there towards Sol it's a sea of bars - el Mercado de San Miguel is worth a visit - C/Manuela Malasaña, Bilbao metro (up a bit from Tribunal metro) For Irish bars: - James Joyce, C/Alcalá opposite the ayuntamiento - Triskels, very small but good, near Tribunal metro - The Irish Rover, Avenida de Brasil, up north of the centre near the Bernabéu (spit spit!) Have a good one. BMW --- Original Message --- From: Damian Walsh pussaydam...@gmail.com Sent: 22 January 2015 15:34 To: leedslist leedslist@gn.apc.org Subject: [LU] list meet? I managed to get in a mini-list meet with Guy Thornton in Amsterdam last week. I hadn't realised Dave W. was there too so he didn't get invited :) - it was very much a last minute thing (8 o clock phone call for 8:30 meet). I can give more notice for this evening ;) Anybody in Madrid at all? I used to come here quite often 15 or so years ago and used to regularly meet up with Tim and occaisonally with most of the active list when we played at the Bernabeu (my FR identity card came in useful for buying tickets). I'll be online until about 18h00 CET - drop me a line. If you can't come, but know Madrid, send me any good addresses that you may have because I think that Madrid has moved on a bit since the 1990s MOT Damian ___ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email leedslist-unsubscr...@gn.apc.org John 'Grampa' Sykes Rest In Peace old lad 28th Oct 1938 - 12 Nov 2013 MARCHING ON TOGETHER ___ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email leedslist-unsubscr...@gn.apc.org John 'Grampa' Sykes Rest In Peace old lad 28th Oct 1938 - 12 Nov 2013 MARCHING ON TOGETHER

[LU] Bamba signed
YEP reporting that he has now signed on loan till end of season with view to a permanent transfer. Aged 30 and only played once this season so there some concerns for me there, however a big commanding centre half to go alongside Cooper could be just the player we need, not sure where this leaves Pearce ? Re: [LU] pictures of a leg end
You cheeky cnut I'll have you know that my mum was vetinarian to the stars. Most of the Revie era players lived in North East Leeds (apart from Norman Hunter who lived just up the road from me in Horsforth) and them as had pets would take them to Bouvet Butterfield Vetinary Surgeons where my mum was the small animal specialist. So there! (And my sister went to school with Kim Revie) Cheers Graham White On Friday, 23 January 2015, 11:28, Richard Naef rich...@triumph-computers.co.uk wrote: #yiv4866811977 #yiv4866811977 -- _filtered #yiv4866811977 {font-family:Helvetica;panose-1:2 11 6 4 2 2 2 2 2 4;} _filtered #yiv4866811977 {font-family:Helvetica;panose-1:2 11 6 4 2 2 2 2 2 4;} _filtered #yiv4866811977 {font-family:Calibri;panose-1:2 15 5 2 2 2 4 3 2 4;} _filtered #yiv4866811977 {font-family:Verdana;panose-1:2 11 6 4 3 5 4 4 2 4;}#yiv4866811977 #yiv4866811977 p.yiv4866811977MsoNormal, #yiv4866811977 li.yiv4866811977MsoNormal, #yiv4866811977 div.yiv4866811977MsoNormal {margin:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;font-size:12.0pt;}#yiv4866811977 a:link, #yiv4866811977 span.yiv4866811977MsoHyperlink {color:blue;text-decoration:underline;}#yiv4866811977 a:visited, #yiv4866811977 span.yiv4866811977MsoHyperlinkFollowed {color:purple;text-decoration:underline;}#yiv4866811977 span.yiv4866811977EmailStyle17 {color:#548DD4;}#yiv4866811977 .yiv4866811977MsoChpDefault {font-size:10.0pt;} _filtered #yiv4866811977 {margin:72.0pt 72.0pt 72.0pt 72.0pt;}#yiv4866811977 div.yiv4866811977WordSection1 {}#yiv4866811977 what? to a day out in Whitby?
