Re: [LU] Phillips

2016-11-21 Thread Kevin Lewis (UK SBS)
Like Rich, I thought Phillips and Vieira looked a bit lost. In Hernandez's
absence I'd like to have seen Roofe tried in his favourite position to see if
he's likely to be able to make the grade.

Age will take its toll on Hernandez in the next couple of year. Roofe might
just be able to take over.

I guess Monk's idea was to put somebody with a bit of aggression right up
against Shelvey. It didn't work for the first 30 mins as Shelvey ran the game,
but I was impressed with the way Leeds stuck at it, and with a bit of luck
could have taken it to the wire.

Lascelles, Gouffrain, Shelvey, Gayle, Mitrovic and Perez are a class above
anyone else in this league though.

I was disappointed in the result but not so much with the performance, we
didn't get battered, and if we had a little luck at the end of the first
half (or the ref's being a little harsher to them) we could have taken it to
the wire.

Nope, nobody predicted 0-2, but Richo and BruvvaLee both said by two goals,
aka 1-3 and 2-4 respectively.
The average score of the meagre 13 entries worked out to 1-1 (1.84 to 1.54
actually), so we all blew it really :)
Better luck next time folks, might do it for the Aston Villa game, just for
more fun, but next time it will be best ale/beer choice
