Re: [LU] Augustin

From what Augustin has shown previously I’m doubtful he’s for us, but poor old
Bamford upped his game today, not only not scoring, but clearing off the line
for them too :-(

Never pick the same Lottery numbers as Marcus :-(

[LU] Augustin

2020-06-21 Thread Kevin Lewis (UK SBS)
Sky seemed to be following the injured line when J-KA’s name was mentioned, but
I thought Bielsa said that he had bee uninjured since April!

I notice that he has not (yet) had his loan extended beyond June 30th. Perhaps
they are trying to get out of signing him for good by a) Saying we only had to
buy him if we got promoted during his loan deal, or b) Making him feel unwanted.

Bit of a risk deciding they won’t need him if he is (nearly) fit. But I can’t
really see him making any difference.

[LU] Cardiff - here we go again

2020-06-21 Thread John Lee via Leedslist
As if things haven’t been grim enough  Clearly I’d forgotten how this team can
frustrate me!

The positives: we look fit; lots of possession; ppromotion-wise we’re not
really any worse off than yesterday
The negatives: never really looked like scoring (despite the stats); 2 sh*t
defensive passes cost us 2 goals; Roberts - lightweight and ineffective;
Bamford - awful first touch and jinxed by bad luck; Poveda - why?; all-round
passing - sloppy as hell!

The Fulham game is probably going to be season-defining.
