Our early games record after going up is quite good I believe. 64/65 - 3 straight wins including a 4-2 Home defeat of the then champions Liverpool!! 90/91 - 2 wins and a draw including opening day win at Everton. Don't despair before a ball is kicked folks. Kev - we won't be short of a centre back if we get the kid from Zagreb, who must be some player if he is worth a million for every year of his very short life! I doubt we'll be paying that much money to stick him in the under 23s, so I would expect Cooper to be doing some serious bench warming this season.
