Yep. That's a major decision that Redders has to answer for. Everyone who has seen Wooton play knows he isn't nearly good enough in his own position never mind as a makeshift right back. Terrible decision to make him an ever present. Also, bringing Luke Murphy back for me is questionable. Ok, he's been much better than his first stint ( he couldn't have been worse) but more often than not we will lose with Murphy in midfield. He's shit. Also, he doesn't seem to know who to play up front ? He persevered with Morrison and then dropped him in favour of the hapless Sharp. On the plus side he's realised Byram is a midfielder, the young lads are the way forward and Taylor is no left back although he put him there today. Well the Daily Mail were on the money with their story on McCarthy being the new Leeds boss so I'll take this one with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise. Am disappointed we didn't go for Big Mick but the soundbites from Warnock so far have been positive so lets hope he delivers on it. If we can get some momentum going we could be the form team going into the playoffs which would make a nice change from previous years where we were out of form by the time the playoffs came around (lets face it the only way we will get into the playoffs is if we hit a purple patch between now and the end of the season). First of all, don't knock Warnock looking after his mates (presumably) - a bit of loyalty can go a long way in football. Just thank God that he didn't bring in O'Hare to shore up our defence ;) Secondly I think that we are surely paying Warnock to get some "added value" out of the players we've already got rather than giving him a mission to go out into the transfer market to buy our way up. After all, poor old Simon Grayson was sacked after the transfer window not before - all in all a cynical bit of manipulation if ever I've seen one, and one that seems to have worked like a dream for Bates. OK, lets look at the statistics, over the last 7 seasons the average points for 5th & 6th were 76 & 73 respectively (78 & 70 were highest & lowest), we've got 48 points, so we will probably need a minimum of something like 8 wins and 3 draws to get in there.
