GET IT LIVE - GET IT AT TRADES HALL ARTS, bringing class back into the
class struggle . . .

IN THE BEGINNING . . . THE ODD TESTAMENT
presented by Short Attention Span
-------------------------------------------------------------------
In the Beginning . . . The Odd Testament is a highly entertaining and
very funny three person physical theatre/ cabaret.

Inspired by some stories from the Old Testament, it is the compelling
story of two tragic-comic characters; homeless, isolated, displaced and
impoverished, living in an indeterminate time and place. The work is a
unique combination of theatrical styles from Brechtian songs to bouffon
clowning telling the story of these two imperfect souls and their
'biblical' journey, coupled with the perfection of some of the greatest
literature ever set down.

From the creators of the incredibly popular Hamlet in One Hour, (winner
of the Melbourne Fringe Theatre award) and Cabaret Tingel Tangel,
(winner of the Green Room award for Best Cabaret). Performed by Alice
Carter, Krisztian Bagin & Tania Kyriakou, Accompanied by Steven Lindsay
Directed by John Bolton

ARGENTINA IN REVOLT film screening

In Commemoration of Argentina's popular rebellion of December 19 & 20th,
2001 In Solidarity with the mass grassroots mobilisations of December 19
& 20th, 2002

The inspiring popular rebellion of 19 and 20 December 2001 in Argentina,
and subsequent events, have provided a glimpse of a possible future
where the people who toil decide the country's priorities and direction.
It's either that or a worsening of the repression, unemployment, hunger
and illness that's decimating Argentina's, Latin America's and the Third
World's millions of poor.

The Mothers of Plaza de Mayo support group invites you to show your
solidarity with the people of Argentina's struggle for major social
change at the presentation of this video on the country's radical
grassroots movements.
