Re: legacy design kit

That's great Brandon. I'm in the process of learnining Sketchup and this
will help. Aspire (my CNC software) has recently announced Sketchup import
for tool path generation. Haven't tried it yet.
Thanks!

Ok, this went quicker than I thought. I got home early tonight and had
some time to hash this out. I have attached the Bit Profiles needed, along
with a few screenshots to help visualize the process.
First, save the Bit Profiles to a folder that you can easily locate. You
will need that file location to load them into sketchup. You will also need
to find and install the Grid plugin. If I recall correctly, it can be found
in the extension warehouse. I have listed out the process and how they
 correspond to the screenshots.

 1) Set view to Parallel Projection and set the view to Top.
 2) Go to Tools and open Components
 3) Click the menu button on the side of the Components window and click
 Open Collection. (Screenshot 1)
 4) Locate the Bit Profiles to load them.
 5) Go to Tools, and select Grid from the bottom of the list.
 6) Set the scale by typing 1 into the Measurements box at the bottom
right. Then press enter to set the scale.
 7) Click to set the start point, drag to set the length along the x-axis
then click again. Then drag up to set the y-axis. (Screenshot 2)
 8) Use the line tool, as normal, to create any flat surfaces.
 9) Drag and drop the desired profile onto the grid. (Screenshot 3)
 10) The side edges of the bits are still in place to help identify
overlapping, but can be erased if desired to clean up the image.
 (Screenshot 4)

That's the quick and dirty version. Let me know if you have any other
 questions.
By the way, I created the profiles by outlining the profiles that were
distributed by Tracy at Legacy. Hopefully, distributing my sketchup
 versions doesn't create any issue.

 Enjoy!

A quick FYI. You will probably notice that there are some profiles that are
missing. I am still working on creating them. I haven't had much time to
dedicate to them lately, but I will upload them when once I get them
finished.
