Did google - www.Acmetools.com shows each bit cut for designing
edge or cut.

The profiles have been around for a very long time. If you buy a program like 
Turbo Cad (And learn to use it) this program can make turning spindles very 
easy (Even give you depth of cut) And yes, you can use the drawings to make 
your own Design kit.
