I'm not much of a celeb but I will be on the road from Phoenix on the
first of march and Fresno the 8th, Seattle the 23 and Portland the
29th.  Driving the whole way so you will be able to kind of figure what
area I will be in, in between. Any one want to do a meet-up, let me
know. 405-650-0542

Hello Dharma

Welcome to the group, I am sure we will be able to get you to kick
everything else out of the garage in no time.  Priorities right?  LOL
Ask away with your questions we are a group that will help.  And here is
an offer.  I will be in Portland the weekend of March 29-30-31 and would
have some free time that Friday night.  If you would like to meet, let
me know. Would be glad to warp a young (to the Legacy) woodworkers mind.

I'm a bit of a jack of all trades (woodworking, metalworking,

In a high school vocational program, I got exposure to metalworking
and machining.  I noticed how machining skills really translated over
to woodworking skills.  I fantasized about building some kind of
router milling table for wood.  I was impressed by a legacy mill at a
woodworking show, probably 15 yrs ago, but definitely wasn't in the
budget.  I was psyched to find a deal on one recently.  It's a stretch
to find room for it in my single car garage shop.  But, i"ll make it
work.  It may hang on or lean against the wall when not in use.  I
have played with it a little bit and it is a lot of fun.  It seems
like the potential for flat milling wasn't fully developed from the
factory.  A table and clamping system for milling joinery in flat
stock is high on my list for improvements.  I stumbled on some you
tube videos by Russ Veinot, that had some helpful examples.

Getting off the moderated list is easy as posting a message
introducing yourself.  Asking a question related to the equipment

still believe this is a family friendly place so please don't be shy.

My space for a home shop has been limited, so I have generally built small
