Hello RK / Mr Corbett,

Where in Maryland do you live?

What model Mill do you have?

Do you have any of the "accessories" that work with your Mill? e.g. Rotary
Table, Template Follower Kit, Linear Molding Kit, etc.

I know there are (were) at least two members of this Group that live in
Maryland.

Perhaps one is within a reasonable distance for the two (or three) of you to
meet up some place.

As several members of this Group have stated, get yourself some inexpensive
wood (like pine from a big box store), glue several up to where you have a fair

Another thing to use it for is to make you own custom trim - like dentil

For some reason or another you don't seem to require any help from me. But I
will try to help you if you type MACSWAG in the search. You will learn
a lot about the Revo. He was the first owner of my machine. And he bought every
conceivable extra Which I now have and also the graph paper for drawing spindle
shapes. Vertical vice horizontal vice rotary table and other bits and bobs

Chains was a misprint. I'll  send you a picture of the cain. It was a first try

I forgot to mention that I've  made a couple of chains, one of which was very
successful as it was tapered and had brass tubing at the top and bottom. I
rough cut thr handle on a band saw and shaped on on my router table. I was

I'm interested in finding out how to unsubscribe as I  have only used my legacy
to make cains and quarter columns for a chest of drawers I'm  working on.
Almost all of what I see on the emails is beyond me. Frankly, the legacy was a
gift from my wife and up until a couple of years ago I  never touched a piece
of wood, so I'm not able to exploit this tool to anywhere near its potential.
Of course, if there was someone in Maryland from whom I  could take lessons,
that would be appreciated.ThanksSent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy

This is slightly legacy, I finished cutting my latest scroll saw project (see
the pic) and was sanding the face ready for buffing using my orbital sander so
I thought I would show you guys my sander sitter you sit the sander on it when
you put it down, now as you do you let it run for a second and turn it off
while holding it on there and it cleans the sand paper. I even hold it on there
for a second off and on if I’m doing long stretches of sanding and I get way
longer life from my sanding pads so the same would apply when you use your
orbital sander sanding legacy jobs. Watch this

I responded to some others of your group with information about my location and
my my mill. I will stick around for a while, but up until 5 years ago or so I
never picked up a woodworking tool. I've had some success but it's a slow
process.

Otherwise I would stick around for a while and ask questions so we can offer
some assistance. There are several members that would like to see your work.
There are several cane maker lurking in the background, maybe you could get
them talking again?

I do have to say this last month we been a little lax in keeping the messages a
little off topic. There is so much more to see if you go through the old
messages. If you do choice to leave let me be the first to say we will miss
you. This group runs on questions and answers and even newbies are welcome

We are getting off topic here and it's my fault, but there are some pictures in
old messages that show what he got. A small vile with a tiny amount of dust in
it is pretty average for him. He always says he can't quit his day job!

Now, let's see if Curt "practices what he preaches" after the trip.

He is always asking for pictures. Let's see if he posts pictures for us to
see, of all the gold he panned.

For his sake (and Mike's), I hope they find the Mother Lode!
