Hey Bill.

My Mom use to tell me, "If you cant say something nice, Don't say anything at
all".

You are right about the camera angle. being a novel approach, One that I never
though of trying.

There were quite of few suggestion that I would like to make While watching
this video, In order to help this person get the most out of his Legacy. Simple
little things, like plaining off the corners before you try to use the
spiral/lead screw. Turning the headstock by hand/lever handle, and moving the
Carriage by hand, to make the spindle round. Also, Making the spindle round
first, so the spindle dose not have a flat spot, before you try to turn...
(there are more, but I will stop there.)

Over all I like the attempt, Perhaps his videos will bring in more people, to
start using the Legacy? We can ONLY Hope. ;-)

Thanks for sharing this.

Have a good day.

When I bought my LOM 1200 a month ago I was able to get a great price because
the owner could not find a number of the original parts so I took a chance that
I would be able to fabricate or find what I needed to do the type of work I
wanted.  I was able to find/make stuff to get functional.  This week the person
I bought it from sent me a text that in cleaning up a corner of his shop he
found a box full of everything that he had gotten with the mill when he bought
it and wanted to know if I still wanted it since he obviously no longer had any
need.  After looking at some photos it was obvious that this was everything i
was missing with some extras like Magnate bits, extra hardware/backer
plates/drive gears/etc.  The box arrived yesterday and boy was I excited to see
everything he found.  The one item that I am still trying to ID is not a LOM
part but appears to be some type of quick change router bit kit that has a base
unit that may attach to the router and then 8-10 1/4" and 1/2" fittings that
allow a bit to be set screwed into the sleeve and then the sleeve may then snap
into the base similar to a quick disconnect air hose fitting.  Still playing
with it to figure out how it works and how it may attach to a router.  I will
attach photos tomorrow.  Has anyone seen anything like i am describing?
