Re: New EZ indexing concept for the Legacy Ornamental mill

2019-04-20 Thread Gene
I have had my Legacy 1500 for about 6 years. I am very interested in your
EZ indexer system. If possible please send me any information you can so I
can make the EZ indexer unit. I have tried everything to make the rope
design same thickness, one looks great, second fat, third soso. I put a
motor on my unit, made it larger and put bearings on all sliding parts.
Rope design still looks really bad. I would like to try your system.
Always enjoy reading what everybody has done in this group. Hope I can add
something in the furture.
Thank you.

Re: Thin Stock Support

2012-12-02 Thread Gene
Curt:
I saw a bit I thank on U tube regarding this problem. I will try to find
it again. anyway the gentlemen made a holder like the one Tim is writing
about.
Differance being the holder is mounted to the front of the router table.
About 2 or 3" from the bit. It moves with the table so no vibration will
get to the
bit before it is cut. Nice thing about this is it is always out of the way
as you mill a long project.

Re: New Members and Moderation

2012-05-23 Thread Gene
I am a new member as of May 22, 2012. A replay to Bill that wants a 5'
section of 1"x8tpi, I got mine at FashenAll (sp). Cost about $50.00 in
stock. Also can anybody tell me why
Legacy does not support there not so old machine (1000EX) I though it was
the law you had to support for seven years. I just bought mine a week ago,
bummer.
