Price Drop Alert,

The guy in Texas with the 4 Legacy 900s with the upgraded Z and the motors
has dropped the price from $2500 to $2000. If you are in the market for a
new machine with a couple of cool whistles, then they are not bad deals.

Here is the PDF file for the z-axis upgrade kit.

Bill, nice lift! Can I ask how you came by the extra extruded rail and 1/4

That's kinda what I figured. I remember seeing a download from the legacy
website for the z-axis upgrade modifications for the 1000. I think there was
an alternate plate to use with the drive screw split nut. I don't mean to
hijack this thread, but has anyone attempted to build their own z-axis? I
have an idea, but if someone out there already has a proven method I would
love to see their design.

Four, Yes, Four 900s for Sale on Ebay for $2500 Each out of Texas

2013-03-26 Thread Brandon Khoury
Just out of curiosity, does the z-axis upgrade for the 900 fit the 1000ex? And
if so, is it a full swap out or is there a fitting kit that is needed? Since
the z-axis is never sold individually, I figured it may be worth contacting a
seller to see if they would sell the z-axis separately, but I would send them
my standard sled so they could still sell a functioning unit.

the 1000 ex needed a separate up grade to use the z axis, I don't know what
was different, but I do know that the kits were different. for the effort
