Hello everyone,I recently acquired a Legacy 1000EX with floor stand & a Porter Cable 7539 router. The seller is in the process of moving & selling off his shop. With all the distractions of selling his home, tools, & packing to move, he was unable to locate the owners/set up manual. He gave me several informational VHS tapes, but they do not address the basic set up info & techniques I need to get started & understand this machine. I have searched on line to no avail for this information. Assistance in this matter would be much appreciated.,I retired on June 30th, after 20 yrs as a Hospice Nurse, & have been an on & off woodworker for many years. I now plan to dive much deeper into the hobby.I am working on setting up a permanent shop with the 1000EX as it's focal point.In addition to my new mill, I also have a Shopsmith with most accessories, (I inherited it from my Father in law), a 70s vintage Craftsman table saw, three wood lathes, mini, midi, & full sized with a 72" bed, planer, oscillating spindle sander, router crafters, router table, several routers, drill press, miter saws, dust collection, & many other small wood working, wood carving, & mechanics tools. I may need to do some downsizing myself!I plan on making walking sticks, wands, flutes, children's furniture, & wooden coffins/caskets. My other passion is antique clocks. I play the drums & the lap dulcimer.
