Oops ! Guess that I need to go back in hospital. I meant Legacy and not
Family Tree Maker. Thanks to all
who replied, as I now have it figured out what to do to get back to Legacy
6.

I just got out of the hospital, after an extended stay. I am still fairly
new to computers and to Family Tree Maker. Have been in the hospital since
the first week of june 2008.

When I got sick, I was using the Delux Edition of Version 6.I don't have
much family information yet, but that is where I had everything entered.

My wife saw that there was a new version out and tried to help me out. She
downloaded the new version
7.Now, all my data is version 7 and I can't get back into versio 6 as that
is where I wanted to keep my data,
until I decided which version I wanted to use.

Can I get back into version 6 ,and if I can, how do I do it ? Hopefully I
will try to get the delux version 7 soon.

Thank you very much

Since your hard drive crashed, have you re-downloaded the Legacy Family Tree
program, so that your backup CD has something to associate with ?
