I am new to Legacy and rather than re-ask questions that have already been answered, I might wish to search the archives. Are the user group messages archived somewhere? RE: [LegacyUG] Pocket PCs aka PDA
I use Pocket Genealogist Advanced and like it. It isnt as easy to work in as Legacy on a laptop or desktop simply because of the screen size. But its a good way to take all of your info with you. And with two way syncing you can add info that is synced with Legacy when you return home. I dont use it a lot but am glad to have it. I would like to get some genealogy software to put on it. Is there anyone out there that has Pocket Genealogist or GedStar Pro? Do you like it? Do you use it? From what I could tell, GedStar Pro is for Palm only. Is that true? Thanks in advance, Jane Visit my websites: www.wmwebmasters.com www.jftwd.com/designs -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Jack, Go to the Options pull-down menu and click Set Preferred Startup Family. From there you can select the one you want. Hey, yours is the first message I've received thru the list since 07/05. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Kay Fordham Sent: Wednesday, July 19, 2006 1:07 PM To: Legacy User Group Subject: [LegacyUG] Status? Hello - Have heard nothing from the Legacy Group so assume work is still in progress to get the list on the right track. Might be a good idea to post a status report on the Legacy Mailing List page so we don't have to keep wondering about the issue. Also new subscribers are not going to get the desired results and will not know why. RE: [LegacyUG] Status?
Mary, so you want a choice of digest or individual email and not digest instead of emails as your message said? From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of program-info Sent: Wednesday, July 19, 2006 7:08 PM To: LegacyUserGroup@legacyfamilytree.com Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] Status? And that's just fine if you don't want a daily digest. Every other on-line group I belong to has the choice between individual e-mails and a daily digest. Since they all offer a choice, it just didn't seem to me that it could be too hard. Mary Mary, I hate to do this when the list has only been running for a few hours. But maybe not all of us want a daily digest instead of a lot of separate e-mails. About an hour ago I started receiving messages from the list on my Comcast account. These are the first I've received since June 13th. Maybe something got fixed.
