My question regarding this prolonged discussion about this is: Does one have to download each one of the builds as they become available, or will the last build that was released on 3/13 (7.0.0.90)include anything that has been changed recently? My last download was for 7.0.0.86. I purposely didn't do the next one once I read all the posts about the problems people were having. [LegacyUG] Upgrading to Vers. 7.0
Have waited to upgrade to Vers. 7.0 from 6.0 for some time and think I am ready to do this for myself for Christmas! Have the bugs all been worked out? Anything special I need to know about the downloading process? Do I uninstall the previous version first? Does my data automatically go into the new version? Seems like I saw some exchanges about where the program should be located - Program files or C: drive, which is where my current version is located. Thanks for any help so I don't wind up with a problem to have to write in about. [LegacyUG] Not seeing my own message appear
Why do I not see my own message appear as an incoming message for the Users Group? Have been away for a while and just getting back onto list. My message of 6/8 did not come in to me but two people answered my question. I replied 6/9 and it did not show up either. I must be doing something wrong. Thanks for the help. Just hadn't found the right tab to locate the option needed. Leona Hi Leona, Yes it is important. In the Report Options Top right of Format Tab you'll find: Suppress details for living people and the option to change the names to Living. This feature is available in all reports on the Format Tab. Also you can exclude lots of living people by choosing to only chart generations where the majority are dead - see on the main Descendant Chart screen buttons with 5, 10 etc. or you can enter any number from 1 to 250 in the box. [LegacyUG] Living persons on Descendancy chart
I want to share some family information with a newfound cousin from the message boards, but want to exclude the personal information on living persons.
