I have an event called Real Estate that covers owning a home (in the

Re: [LegacyUG] (LegacyUG) Event: Transfer of Deed

2008-08-07 Thread Hugh Busey
*Thanks Ron and Elsie.

My problem is that the format doesn't handle more than one person such as;
Betsey B. and
WIllard Meacham transferred property to Philo Sage. However, there aren't
so many transfers
that I can't write the details for each in the description field and leave
the auto-format fields blank.
Now I'll see if that causes any reporting hick-ups.

BTW, I liked your approach to Census Events a few months ago so much that
I'm going through
and modifying all my Censii data. Thanks for that.

I created an event called 'Deed', and it works
perfectly, using Description for the land boundaries,
date and place as nornal, in Notes the listing of each
family member involved with it, and in the related
Source - Text of Source, I have the transcribed
document. I know some of it is redundant, but it works
for me.
