Ila,

Did you save the fist source before adding the second? It is now required.

I know I have been able to cite multiple sources for birth,
death, name, etc. but I seem to have hit a snap in v. 7.0.

I can see in files made with earlier versions that I may have
two or more citations for the same basic type of information. But, when I try
 to
do it in v . 7.0 I get a new line at the top of the screen with the event
 field
blank. How can I get it to list this information under the present citation
 for
 death information?

Yes, the first source was added in an earlier version. I was able to add a
second source to one other record where the first source had been added in
an earlier version, but I have not been able to do it again.

The idea just occurred to me. Could there be a problem with that particular
record that is preventing me from doing this?

Ila,

One never knows!! You could try FileFile MaintenanceCheck/Repair. When you
try to enter the new source please can you describe your procedure in baby
steps, so I can try and reproduce.

Ron, I tried and failed, that is to get it to not put the source when I wanted
it. It was placed just where it needed to be. Either I misread what I was
seeing on the screen, this was the wrong record, or whatever the problem was it
corrected itself. Thanks for your help. Everything seems to be working as it
should now.

Ila, LOL - can happen that way, like a problem goes away when visiting the
doctor!
