What do other LUGgers do about pictures when there is a tombstone with

Jenny:
My headstone photos are not attached to an 'Event' rather they are entered
under burial pictures found in the plus sign to the right of Buried in the
Individual's Information screen. I attach a picture to each person if
husband and wife (or more) are on the headstone. If you print an individual
report for the wife, the image will not show up if it was only attached to
the husband. I use this same logic for census information (which I do attach
as an event) and each person mentioned in the census has the transcribed
data attached to them.

I attach the tombstone picture to each person that appears on the
tombstone. The people could appear in various pages of a report, so I
would worry about duplication of a picture.

Re: [LegacyUG] Burial Pictures

2009-08-10 Thread RICHARD SCHULTHIES

I have put the link to 'my' family's stones to include most in the photo
gallery of each person. The multiple links do not take much memory space. When
I started I only had census photocopies and the gravestone to put in the photo
field, and I 'needed' to fill it up.
When your 'stone photo' is there, it can be the Prefered one.

I believe it will print in the Individual report and the Family Group
report. Check the options on each; if it doesn't print then select the
include tab and make sure event pictures is selected.

I don't have an answer for your questions ... but I see you have a gmail

Is there a way to create a list of individuals that have or don't have
burial pictures attached to their records? I usually attach photos of
tombstones as burial pictures and would like to know which ones I still need
to get.

Re: [LegacyUG] Burial pictures

2008-04-10 Thread Cathy

Hi Melanie,

This is a difficult question. You can only approach what you want using the
View Scrapbook and choose All Individuals and Individual Event Pictures.

Then click the Print Picture List button.

On the next screen click check Include description of what photo is linked to

From that list (whether on paper or the PDF) you could then go
through and tag individually the people with a photo or the people
without - whichever it the smallest number.
