Carol,

May I ask what kinds of maps they have?
Topographical?
Political
Historical
Combos?
Are sources given for boundaries?\
How detailed?

I don't expect you to answer all these questions - - I tried without success to find the info on the website & they dont' seem to offer a trial versiom.

Thanks!

Pat

Subject: [LegacyUG] European Locations

I really like Family Atlas, it seems to have a very complete list of
locations for Europe, and it a good a good mapping program. I like its
"Nearby Places" feature, where I can enter a place name, radial distance,
get a list of locations, sort them by distance of place name, and save the
list as a spreadsheet. Their data base is over 3M locations.

It's the only program I've found with these features. Their web page is:

Wish Legacy would add their features to the next release? Legacy gives you a "Nearby Places" list, but there is no way to save it. You have to copy it
by hand.
