[LegacyUG] Finding those common to a source

2007-10-23 Thread John Magyari
If I assign a common source to multiple individuals can I then do a
search to find out all those individuals that share that source?

For example if I have 15 people who all came to the the US on the same
ship from the same village, I then assign to all the same source, How I
do a search and show a list of all those individuals who road together
to the US on the same ship by searching for individuals common to a source?

thanks,
john

Yes, you can.
Go to View, Master Sources,
Click (highlight) the Master Source, then click on Show List (right
side of window)

This will show all the people who have this source somewhere in their
personal data.

John,
Yes. Go to View/Master Lists/Source and highlight the source
you are interested in. Then click on Show List to the right. Bingo.

With the Show List screen open, on the right of that screen the 4th button
from the top is the Print button. Once selected, you are able to preview the
list before printing or create a PDF file of the list (in Deluxe anyway).

I have a Print button to click on that allows me to send it to my printer or
create a PDF. I have deluxe with all the latest stuff. Is this not available in
the standard version?

Don't you have a button that says Print in that window, on the right
of all the names? That should work.
