Re: [LegacyUG] Marriage unknown
This advice helped me clean up about a dozen Unknown to Unknown marriages with no siblings. Thanks all! RE: [LegacyUG] Marriage unknown
Thanks Jennifer, Richard and Randolph for your replies. Jennifer's solution worked, and now my great uncle is shown as should be. When I deleted the marriage, the box with "never married" lost its checkmark, so I had to re-check that box in order that the exclamation mark would show up on the family group page. Again, thanks! This group is so helpful! When I try to unlink Unknown, "Spouse" is grayed out. How do I remove this (non)marriage? I've tried to delete "Unknown" but am unable to figure out how to do this. Thanks. Linda B. If all else fails, create a fake person, named fake person, as a spouse. Save file. reopen and unattach, delete fake person. Rich in LA CA We used to call it confusing the computer in the old days. --- Linda Bischoff <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I have a great uncle in my file who never married. Re: [LegacyUG] Marriage unknown
Can't you simply delete this particular Unknown? On 9/1/07, Linda Bischoff <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I have a great uncle in my file who never married. Linda, Try going to the Marriage List. Find the man, highlight him and Select: Options - remove the marriage link.
