Gary, Yours is a good question, and it was fun to come up with a Legacy News article to answer it. For one perspective, read the article via: 1) Via the Legacy News section of the Legacy Home tab in Legacy 6. 2) Via our blog at http://www.legacynews.typepad.com. 3) Via your RSS reader. 4) Direct link at http://legacynews.typepad.com/legacy_news/2006/12/how_to_find_anc.html. Randolph, I looked under all the options of LOOK FOR WHOM but found nothing pertaining to SPOUSE in the Detailed Search drop down for any of them. gc On Thu, 14 Dec 2006 15:52:54 -0500 Randolph Clark [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: What did you select under: Look for whom? RE: [LegacyUG] Search for spouse
Gary, You do not specify what you mean by no marriage information so I have taken it to mean no marriage date. This gets some way towards what you are looking forbut you may need to play around a bit. SearchFindMiscallaneous Searchesindividuals who are married. check clear list then CreateOptionsAdvanced TaggingEveryone in Search ListTag=1 (make sure this tag is clear SearchFindDetail Search Individual: Male Where to Look: Surname How to Look: Equal to What to Look For: Crull Check Only search the Search List Create List Click Print and then click Customise Click the white boxes with three dots on and you can change the options. You will see that for Marriages 1, 2, 3, and preferred you can change to Date and place: Select as required. Then select obviously, name, surname and the marriage options. Click Preview This will produce a list of all the people with your surname who are married and you will see whether or not they have the details.
