Right Click on the Legacy folder (c:\legacy) and Share it with All
Users (don't know the exact English term because I'm using a Dutch
OS).

2009-06-30 Thread Diane Szabo
Ron, currently it isn't installed. Because of the error messages I deleted
it. But, it installed on my "C" drive. Should I have selected another
location? I do have an external drive to do that if it will work. My
Legacy Family file is installed on my "C" drive. (C:\Legacy\Legacy.exe)

I appreciate your message.

I submitted this problem on June 26 but have not had resolution as
of right now. Can anyone help?

I am still having problems with Legacy Charting. I deleted
the program I had originally downloaded as instructed by Sherry, then
closed all programs, then downloaded the program again from the Legacy
home

page. Here is what I receive after downloading:

Access violation at address 00TDC414 in module legacy charting.exe.
Read of address 000C. I clicked on OK, but then I got
a second error message, this time reading: Access violation at address
008A41CF in module Legacy charting.exe Read of address 000C.

As I told Sherry, I am using Vista on a 64-bit computer which is a
new computer. Legacy Charting originally worked just fine on
my 32-bit, Windows XP computer. Is the fact that I went from 32-bit to
64-bit the problem? If so, when will Legacy charting be compatible with my
computer?

Please advise.

You probably have Charting installed to a folder you have no access to.
Sherry posted instructions how to solve these problem a few days ago,
but I don't remember in which thread.

I didn't have a chance to make or save the chart. The photos I wish to use
in the chart are saved on a memory stick which is inserted. When I click
on

a chart I get the error message. I was able to print and save the round
chart which does not have photos. Should I move the photos to my hard
drive?

You could try to save the photos to a folder on the same drive as the
chart to see if that makes any difference.

It's certainly worth trying - if there are a lot I'd just try it with one first.
