I use IrfanView – a free program. You can save a PDF as a jpg, tiff, whatever.
Or visa versa. Lots of options. I just make a copy of the picture or document
and work from that. You can also resize documents easily.

2015-09-02 Thread BARTON LEWIS

Cathy,

Interesting - I did not know what the FN key was for!  When I try this,
it works, but there are painting problems (the upper right half of the
screen is whited out).

Thanks,

Barton

And, actually, you can have 6(?) files/views open at once.Â

'course you need a big screen to make all 6 big enough to be able

    to be practical.

Once you have set up the split screen(s) - if you maximize one of

them into Legacy's main window, you can get back to the split

screen by clicking the RESTORE icon that's on the SECOND row in

the top right corner. (The main RESTORE icon in the very top

 &nb
sp;  right - if you hover over it the pop-up says "restore down". The

second row restore - if you hover over it the pop-up says

    "Restore Window").

And Legacy apparently honors the MS-Office (Windows?) standard of

CTRL-F6 to switch between "split screens". Not real fast, but it

does work in Legacy. (On my screen it is having some "repaint"

issues when I use CTRL-F6 - but that could be my video drivers

2015-09-02 Thread Sherry/Support
The Help file in Legacy is more comprehensive than the printed manual
(printing and shipping costs go up as a book gets bigger ) and
updated regularly.

If you can't find something in the manual, try the Help file .
Every window in Legacy has a Help button that goes right to the topic
for that feature.

Yes they can but not using the method you describe.

1. To add a bookmark you RIGHT Click
2. To delete one you CTRL Right Click

Left Click will jump to the person set in an existing bookmark but it will not

Hi Maurice,
These type of display issues are normally cured by either changing view
and back again OR resizing the window slightly forcing the screen to redraw.
