[LegacyUG] hourglass charts

2015-10-18 Thread Terry
Legacy offers an hourglass chart. But all the descendents and ancestors
go through one person.

Is it possible to have a chart that has both people of a couple, and all
the children appear below, and /*both*/ the parents' ancestors are above?

[LegacyUG] Providing family tree to others

2015-10-18 Thread Helen McCall

This is really basic, I'm afraid.
I'm about to provide what I've done to anyone in the family who
wants to continue it - I'm planning to give them

  the free Legacy installer and

the legacy files, including the source files and

a GEDCOM file, in case they want to use another genealogy
programme.

So that means for point 2 I've copied the files in the Data folder
that I've linked the prog to. ie the "default location for the
family files".  I've also copied the contents of the media folder.
Is there anything else?  I'm wondering about the files in My
Documents\Legacy Family Tree, which is not my default location.

Thanks
Helen
