Have you tried the Legacy Charting rather than the Pedigree.
You have a lot more options at to what goes in the boxes, fonts, etc.

The Icon for this should be in the My Toolbar tab to right of Internet
called Legacy Charting.

Re: [LegacyUG] need help with text size

2016-07-17 Thread Boyd Miller
I don't have any trouble with the five generation chart except that if
you put boxes around the names the font reduces. With the six generation
chart the font size changes after the first four generations, and if you
put boxes around the names you loose a lot of data in the last two
generations The sis gen chart is out of alignment in may places, and has
never been right in Version 8 although there have been a few minor
improvements. It was much better designed in Ver 7.5.

The simplest thing to do is to change to 4 generations per page.

Open the Pedigree Chart options then the Report Options button and look
for the Report Fonts button. But I'm not sure that they make much or any
difference in a Pedigree Chart. It's the number of generations that have
to fit on a page that determines the font size I think.

This error seems to occur for people using Regional setting for their computer

Richard,

My mistake. It doesn't have to do with which version you are using but
rather what region you have your computer set on in Windows (I just re-read
the bug report). I am assuming you have it set on South Africa?
