[LegacyUG] Cloud Backup

2017-04-24 Thread Dale Carmack
I just noticed (after my initial setup) that when the backup occurs the Family
file and media files are backed up to my computer but only the family file is
backed up to the cloud. By the way I hope they add better cloud backup
information in the Help system and also as a customization as I like to never
figured out how to re-access it (“cloud” or “online” backup” are not in the
help). I finally tried the backup button on the ribbon and saw the check boxes
but there is no check box for media to the cloud. I figured I missed it in the
setup so I clicked on manage account but nothing happens.

If I click on manage account and click login it just returns to the “backup
dialog box screen”. If I click on “register account” and then modify the URL
to remove “register” then click login I get the following below the Submit
button and nothing else happens:

Database Problem~~string(362) "SELECT
DBTitle,Public,DefPicPath,DropboxPictureFolder,DropboxAccessToken,d.Active,NamelistToken,AllPersonsToken,Server_IP,DB_ID,Filename,dbPath,dbToken,OwnerID,ShowLDS,Writable,DefaultRin,Permissions,f.FamilyID,f.GlobalID
FROM FamilyList f LEFT JOIN DatabaseList d ON f.FamilyID=d.FamilyID WHERE
f.UserID=2014 AND d.Deleted+0=0 AND f.Active=1 ORDER BY f.FamilyID"

So either I can’t do it this way, or maybe there is an access problem. Can you
backup the media files to the cloud?

Thanks,

dale

In my case I have a tree on MyHeritage so I suspect that quote I cited means
that it saved it to “mine tree already on MH. Legacy does not put a tree on

Does this mean that our trees in Legacy are no longer private?

The next part of the message is confusing as it then states to "review the

You have to add all the information you find via the Hints manually, hint
lets you find data but does not automatically update the information in your
file. That message by MyHeritage only means that they have recorded the
match on their web site and, if you have a MyHeritage tree on their site
that includes the person, the match will now show in their record on that
tree.

The System option on the Ribbon is there only in some of the available styles
for the Ribbon. Geoff uses one of those styles.
Click the Design in the upper right and select styles. Select one of the Office
2010 styles or the Windows 7 Scenic style to get the System to show.

The Office 2007 styles and System do not have the System, instead the options

Wm, I don't have trouble with the Legacy viewer with images that are sharp to

programs. It's only in Legacy that it looks this way. I suspect it's due
to the original file scan as this was a small BW photo. However, the scan
opens and looks fine (no streaks) in other program and displays normally.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks
