Yes you can copy Master Sources to other files.
In the first file, in the Master Source List, (View - Master Lists - 
Sources if you don't have an icon to click) tag the Master Sources you 
want to import into the other file (or you can choose to import all)
In the second file go to the Master Source list,  Options - Import Lists.
Click the Help button there to learn more.

[LegacyUG] sources

I have two family files and I find a source (developed by source writer) and 
would like to copy the source to the second file. Is it possible?
If yes, I would like to know how to proceed.

[LegacyUG] increase font size

Working on a 17 inch laptop and have Legacy “source clipboard” open on half of 
the screen.  The font in the data entry area is small.  Is there any way to 
make the font larger?
Also in the “notes” screen I have changed to a larger font and bold.  Would 
like to change back to the default.

If, like me, you have included an "identifier" in the UserId which 
indicates which of my 4 grandparent lines every individual belongs to, 
it is very easy to extract a complete line by searching for all those 
with the appropriate UserID.

Otherwise I would create a Focus Group - View>Focus Group>Add an 
Individual and Entire Family Line.  You can then go to File>Export and 
select GEDCOM or Legacy and chose the Focus Group you have just created 
as the records to export.

I am a long user of Legacy and use the Bing maps daily.

One would not think it would take more than 3 months to fix the problem.

This should be a top priority.

I use the Bing Maps and geo-code extensively. 

 

I am extremely disappointed to discover that this part of the program was not 
working at the time to updated program was made available.
