[LegacyUG] Tagging descendants back to "x" generation
Hello everyone. I am looking for a trick or an easy way to tag everyone back to just a certain generation. For example, I have a fairly large Italian tree that goes back about 10 generations on most lines. My goal is to tag every line to the 5th generation back. I hope I have clearly explained my situation. If not, let me know. Re: [LegacyUG] Software
Since some people are having problems creating reports, has anyone tried "the complete genealogy reporter" by Nigel Bufton? It is a robust version that is built into the MyHeritage Family Builder software. The reports that are created are very customizable and flexible. Just tossing this idea out there for others who might need a way to create nice reports. [LegacyUG] Relationship database error problem
This morning I woke up to a message on the computer that says: For Your Information Your file is too large for the collection of all possible relationships with the current options you have selected and the collection has been stopped at this point. The results will only show the 2736347 relationships that we have collected so far. Then when I try to open the legacy family tree database file, I get this error message: Error:0 Error opening relationships database. Unrecognized database format C:\Users\jsmes\Documents\Legacy Family Tree \Data\Main Tree~rc3.rc3. Would you like to TRY IT AGAIN? Does anyone have any suggestions or is this something I need to reach out to tech support about? [LegacyUG] End of line report
Hello hello, I am wondering if it is possible to create a report or something such as that, maybe a list, of all the ancestors at the end of a line? I am dealing with a particular city in Italy that has records going all the way back to the late 1400s so I have hundreds and hundreds people that ultimately will be the end of the line that could be anywhere from 10 to 15 generations back.
