I am new to legacy but I have for sometime used the technique of entering
an unknown female spouse as"LNAME". In other words, I place quotation marks
around the known last name of the husband. If I later learn the correct
maiden name I just replace it. For males where I do not know a first name I
generally leave it blank and then later correct it when i get the
information.
